What if there was a Website that would plant a tree for you just by signing up? It would be pretty easy to make an impact, huh?
Socially conscious networks are sprouting up across the Web and new start-up Everywun is pioneering the online difference-making. Users participate on the site by earning and using credits and receive 100 credits just by joining. Coincidentally (and awesomely) 100 credits is enough to plant a tree.
But, maybe your cause isn’t the environment. Maybe it is protecting animals, reducing poverty, educating children or improving health conditions throughout the world.
Well you’re in luck! Whether you support one or all five, Everywun has an assortment of causes that you can donate your earned credits toward.
Ready to start earning credits?
As I mentioned, you get 100 for signing up. Once on the site you can earn credits by signing up friends, opting in for a weekly newsletter, taking informational trivia quizzes and adding badges to your Facebook and blog.
For an organization that started in March of 2009, they already have over 7,000 members and planted 4,699 trees, fed 4,225 shelter animals, given 474 books to children.
And now Everywun is working on their 10,000 Tree Challenge. If 5,000 more people join the site before World Environment Day (June 5th) then Everywun will donate a tree for each of the 5,000 new members and match it with another 5,000 trees, thus 10,000 trees will be planted. Now that is awesome!
Do your part. It’s easy, free and for a good cause. Sign up with Everywun today!
P.S. For every person who signs up through my link not only will you get 100 credits for joining, but I will get 100 credits for recruiting you — enough to plant two trees.
