Green For All is helping to create jobs, redevelop urban communities, and help the environment by rallying for clean energy. These jobs are important opportunities for low-income people to help support their families, do something great for themselves, the environment and other people in the process.

van_jonesVan Jones founded Green For All in 2008 and has not looked back. He passed the CEO torch off to Phaedra Ellis-Lamkins this April to join President Obama as Special Advisor for Green Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation at the White House Council on Environmental Quality. Jones is a NYT bestselling author, winner of numerous awards including a Reebok Human Rights Award, has been honored in TIME Magazine as one of 2008’s Environmental Heroes, and again in April of 2009 under their Top 100 Hero’s and Icons category.

The increase in green jobs is a national effort that will reduce global warming and oil dependence while simultaneously generating well-paid green-collar jobs, as well as safer, healthier communities.

By connecting organizations together with advocates along with law makers, and community leaders, Green For All unites the initiative for a green economy. They also create public awareness of the potential of green-collar jobs and their benefits within all communities. Work with state and local officials to push legislation for their green initiatives. Supply technical support for communities starting green-collar jobs. And assemble an on-line community to share ideas and inform about Green For All’s program.

Green For All and Van Jones are committed to a green, clean economy by creating green jobs and clean energy, leaving the two problems plaguing our country, (and planet), greatly reduced while inspiring a nation to change the world.

If successful, this green job project will also help us secure energy resources through renewable energy processes. It's not only made to provide jobs, but to support us and the world we live in as well.

To reduce our carbon footprint, we will need to reduce the population in developed countries. One might argue that a reduction in Republicans, who have the largest footprints, would be a first step.
