This August a good idea could be worth more than 250,000 euro to you. CNBC, the leading business and financial news television channel and Allianz, one of the leading integrated financial services providers worldwide, have partnered to present The Good Entrepreneur contest. The contest is created to recognize entrepreneurs with environmentally responsible business ideas. The CNBC publicity and the assistance from Allianz are great for the Good Entrepreneur, but what may be more important is the idea itself.
These two corporate giants are lending a hand to the little guy to highlight the need for these ideas to be explored, also to stress the urgency for environmentally responsible business concepts.
The contest closes on July 31st and the three finalists will be announced in August. The contest consists of an application process and then a 60 second video submission of your idea. Even a mobile phone video would work. The finalists will then be included in a four-part televised documentary series following the development of their idea. In the series finale, a panel of judges will determine “The Good Entrepreneur of 2009”. The program will be broadcast in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia in the fall of 2009.
If you would like to enter the contest click here, (sorry for those good entrepreneurs in the west) this contest is for the Eastern Hemisphere.
