The Christmas shopping season is here and we wanted to help you share in the spirit of the season by thinking twice about where you shop and what you give this holiday season.

iGiveTwice is a recently launched online campaign to encourage all of us to give gifts with social and environmental benefits. Led by SocialEarth advisor, Olivia Khalili, it is an independent, non-affiliated campaign to alter the way that people think about buying gifts and consequently, through their choices, change people’s lives.
“Criteria for gifts that give back are inclusive; if you feel that a fair-trade or environmentally sourced product fits, then it does. It’s about making a conscious decision about what one buys and understanding the potential good your purchase does. Originally, I made a commitment to buy only gifts that give back this holiday. I then decided to turn it into a campaign to sensitize people to cause-oriented giving options.”
iGiveTwice is not a product directory but products are listed and collected through user tweets and recommendations.
