Support Global Health with Picture a Healthier World Project

I am excited to introduce you to a website project launched last week called Picture A Healthier World (PAHW) .

In a nutshell, the site is a platform through which photographers (from enthusiasts to professional photographers) can support global health and human rights by donating a photo(s) taken in the U.S. or around the world. Donated photos are organized on the website into the country where the image was taken and sold in print and digital format. 100% of net profits from sales is donated every three months to a different non-profit organization, selected by website visitors through our online poll.  A portion of these funds will be earmarked to support projects in the countries where sold photographs were taken.

At the end of each calendar year, PAHW will send an email to each contributor listing the amount of money that has been donated as a result of his/her image sales.

It’s a fun and easy way for photo enthusiasts to give back to the communities they visit across the globe, and to communities in need in the US. I hope you will check out the website and consider contributing an image and spreading the word! If you submit an image by April 15, you will be entered into a raffle to win a $50 gift card of your choice.
