My skater friends are just about to go stir-crazy with the amount of snow falling in the Midwest – at least the die-hard ones anyway. The others are snowboarding, but the die-hards are either road-tripping to California or settling in for a long winter of getting stoned and watching skate videos. Although I will give them due credit for their dedicated nature to the sport, I won’t grant them reprieve. Something tells me they could be a lot more productive in the off-season. In particular, instead of having their annual RIP skate deck bonfire, they could be turning their party into a profit, just in time for the holiday season. Check out a few examples below.

And if home decor just doesn’t do it for you, there are plenty of fashion options from handbags to heels to an endless array of jewelry. I suggest starting with New York City designer Beck(y) and Maple XO …and as long as I’ve got the space, let me add two of my favorites to my wish list.

Skateboard Belt Buckles – how cute are these?!

EcoShopper.net‘s Skateboard High Heels – a sure way to a sk8er h<3rt.
Ok, dudes, get started!
