In 1920, Dr. Max Gerson discovered the secret to preventing and curing disease, by allowing the body to reach its full potential through eating raw, organic foods and detoxification. He revealed that the human body, not medicine, held the power to heal and prevent illnesses within it, and he seemed to have proved it.
Charlotte Gerson has continued her father’s revelation since 1977. Charlotte runs the Gerson Institute in San Diego, California, that treats, (and cures), patients with ‘incurable’ diseases and illnesses through The Gerson Therapy.
The concept of healing the whole body, not just the disease, is the key. It works by boosting the body’s immune system with nutrients from fresh organic juices plus enzymes, while detoxifying regularly. Degenerative diseases such as Cancer, Diabetes, Heart Disease and Arthritis along with dozens of others have been documented as cured at the Gerson Institute.
Charlotte has been an advocate for natural health and speaks out against our toxic environment, conventional medicine and pharmaceutical industries. There have been several books written on The Gerson Therapy, and in 2008 The Beautiful Truth was released. The movie focuses on the awesome power that we all have at our disposal, power that, along with nature, and a little help from the Gerson Therapy, is the beautiful truth.
