the feast conference

October 1st at the Times Center in New York City there will be a feel-good, socially conscious and idea-generating experience taking place. The Feast Conference, a design- and innovation-ridden “more-than-a-conference” event, will gather some of the world’s greatest innovators from across industries and society to empower, inspire and engage each other in creating world-shaking change.

Along The Feast’s lines of creativity is the concept of micro-sponsored tickets. Since we are all at different income levels and working for different companies, All Day Buffet encourages those attendees that can afford to pay more, to do just that. How does that help? It creates lower-cost tickets for those who can’t afford a Feast ticket at face value. And when more people can attend the stacked lineup that The Feast has to offer, we all benefit by the inspiration that conspires.

The speaker list is fabulous and  includes the expertise of Rod Arnold (charity:water), Mathew Bishop (Economist), Bob McKinnon (YELLOWBRICKROAD), Joshua Viertel (Slow Food), Cindy Gallup (IfWeRanTheWorld), Uffe Elbaek (The KaosPilot), William Drenttel (Winterhouse), Ken Banks (FrontlineSMS), Elizabeth Scharpf (she), Rahul Prakash (Virgance) and Brian Bordainick (9th Ward Field of Dreams).

Attendees will also hear from professional poker player Annie Duke and Kenna — the musician who will climb Mount Kilimanjaro in January 2010 with Lupe Fiasco and Justin Timberlake.

The Feast begins in 4 days, don’t miss it if your hungry for good. Visit www.feastongood.com for more information.
