Greenwala is a green social community comprised of people who help others live a greener lifestyle by sharing their knowledge, green experiences and actions with friends, family and the world.
Greenwala members can read expert articles, post comments on blogs, join or start groups, find new friends, shop and (just by joining) plant a tree.
That’s right! The Greenwala One Million Tree Challenge is a quest to plant one tree for every new member, until one million trees have been planted.
All you have to do is sign up and you can help reduce the impact of global warming.
Of course, after you sign up you can participate in Greenwala’s Treewala and play the Treewala vocabulary game. The game gives you questions to answer and if answered correctly credit you with a “leaf.”

20 leaves equals one tree and thanks to Treewala’s partners, the Marion Institute and Las Gaviotas project, every time you reach 20 leaves an actual tree will be planted!
So far, 7,018 trees have been planted. Great news, huh!
You now have another way to make a real impact online (don’t forget about Better The World and Everywun)!
